Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Clause

Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

Si Se Puede Foundation is committed to fostering, cultivating, and preserving a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Our human capital is the most valuable asset we have. The collective sum of the individual differences, life experiences, knowledge, innovation, self-expression, and unique capabilities that our volunteers and employees invest in their work represents a significant part of not only our culture but also our reputation and achievement.

Diversity

We embrace and encourage everyone’s differences in age, disability, ethnicity, familial status, gender identity or expression, language, national origin, race, religion, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, veteran status, and other characteristics that make our participants unique.

Any volunteer or employee found to have exhibited any inappropriate conduct or behavior against others may be subject to disciplinary action. Volunteers or employees who believe they have been subjected to any kind of discrimination that conflicts with the company’s DEI policy and initiatives should seek assistance from a program lead or Si Se Puede staff member.

Equity

We are dedicated to ensuring fair treatment, access, opportunity, and advancement for all individuals. We strive to identify and eliminate barriers that have prevented the full participation of some groups. We recognize that not everyone starts from the same place and are committed to correcting the imbalance.

Inclusion

We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcomed, respected, supported, and valued. We believe that inclusion ignites innovation and that innovation fuels growth. We aim to create a space where diverse voices are actively listened to and where everyone can participate fully.

Accountability

All volunteers and employees of Si Se Puede Foundation have a responsibility to treat others with dignity and respect at all times. They are expected to exhibit conduct that reflects inclusion during work, at work functions on or off the worksite, and at all other company-sponsored and participative events.
